The LCD replacement is expensive, ($29 CAD from Phillips) so, most optimal solution can be a CFL, looking from the point of triple constrain of the cost/light-output/energy. There are two options available, both at $9 dollars per bulb, from Canadian Tire for pair of 9-watt by NOMA and two from Lowe’s – 9w and 11w, for 35w and 50w replacements, respectively. Though, lack of ability to work with dimmers can be an issue.
