The Green Living Show is Toronto’s largest green consumer show dedicated to educating the public about easy and workable solutions for leading a sustainable lifestyle. For three days visitors were shopping the wide variety of exhibitor booths while gathering information and inspiration from a diverse selection of demonstrations, presentations, and activities.

Some pictures from show that we found noticeable and worth to share with others.

Continuing to deal with big and fat energy suckers through the home, here was another one found – security flood lights with motion detector, at the back of the house. Here is how it was upgraded to get the tiny fraction of energy it used to consume before and still be operational enough to lit the path.

Green Effect Contest got it’s conclusion. Sponsored by National Geographic, it will award $20,000 each to five deserving projects. One of the projects was selected through online voting, while a panel of judges choose the remaining four.
